When I was young as a child I marvelled When the Sun rose high up in the sky The stars twinkling like the glow worms so high The glistening dew drops in the morning And to  hear the melody of birds twittering Felt the Chill air so  very cold  I feared nothing and was very bold The rustling leaves,the fragrant flowers and the pitter patter rain drops were sights   I cherished Playing in the puddles of water Sailing paper boats were so close to my heart  I always prayed that it would last forever I deeply wished I would  never wanted to part Eating goose berries and raw mangoes was the yearning of every child in Summer Hustling  behind trees in the corner The taste still lingers in my memory So sour yet so very Lemony As friends we were always together Enjoying an evening walk,or a game,or just talking for hours together That never seem to end for ever We fought,we made up ,we forgot Next moment ,hand in hand we went about When ever we were mischievous we "escaped"

The Moon slowly rose up in the sky Lit the "Dark Night" and the pathways The waves in the sea "Shimmered" in the soft light It was such an "Amazing Sight" The "Twinkling Stars spread across the sky What a" beautiful" sight it was so very high The deep "Silence",was broken by the "hoots"of the Owls Their eyes "glistening",huge feathers flapping All ready to fly ,hover all around for a "quick bite" The "Glow worms"looked like "Sparklers"of the" Diwali Night", The "rise and fall"of the waves"Shimmering"in the light and their" loud roar" Pierced the "dead silence of the night" The "Twitter"of the birds slowly died down There was a certain "Peace "all around The "Night Queens"were in "full bloom" Their "Fragrance scent the air" The Night was "Still"yet the "Light

The"BREATH" of Life is a "Priceless Gift" Time flies fast and is so Swift We never realise until it's too late Since we are always"Comparing"and being "Ourselves "we never ever "Appreciate" We are blessed with a "Soul"where the "Almighty"resides A "Mind"to ponder and think and to "Act" appropriate Ears to "Filter"  the "Bad"and "Absorb" the "Good" we hear A "Nose" to "Smell"the fragrant flowers  in bloom and the"Scent" of air A"Mouth" to"Voice"our thoughts and always be" Fair" "Hands" to extend "Compassion and Care"  "Feet "to tred  on the pathway that is "right "and always be"aware" "Life is all about LOVING what we do And "CARING" for those who "LOVE YOU"

Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan.(1888_1975) Dr S. Radhakrishnan was an icon for education and teaching therefore his birthday on 5thSeptember is celebrated as "Teacher'sDay.  He was the First Vice President of India between 1962 to 1967.He then became the2nd President of India between 1962 -1967.  He was awarded the "BHARAT RATNA" the highest Civilian Honour as he was an Outstanding  Teacher,Philosopher,and Statesman.  He passed away on 17th April 1975.

As a child I could feel the "echo"of the fun and laughter we shared We had nothing to worry,or feel scared They were moments of simple pleasure And fulfilling a few desires We would feel the warmth of the Sun Hearing the birds twitter and see the flowers bloom and chasing butterflies to hold them was real fun Waited eagerly for the rain drops to fall Sailed  paper boats,wet our feet,and playing with colourful umbrellas drenched ourselves in the rain Such simple joys never went in vain Under the shade of the  trees We used to enjoy the tingling taste of the goose berries,raw mangoes and the  tamarinds A joy nowhere else we could find  We readily forgave each other when we went wrong Helped each other to rise up when our "Spirits"were down Now then we received gifts that melted our hearts, brought up a smile These ", memories" they lasted not only for just a while We played with colored marbles,skipped about,collected different shapes of flowers

A"Wish" I seek till my last breath To think of you every moment and chant your "Divine Name" In joy or sorrow bless Me to remain the same Help me to have no expectation Reflect love,care,and compassion Let the "Soul"resonate the "Chant" And be "grateful" to all that you grant Let my heart be light and my mind be strong Forgive me whenever I go wrong Let me have the courage to face any "change"  And always be ready to "rearrange" Every moment is always a "Suprise" When I fall lend me your hand to rise Without you Life is a complete "Stand Still" And with you by my side no "task" is a "uphill", Bless me  to be your "humble devotee" Our past,present,and future "ONLY  YOU" can "SEE".

The CHILD in us is the most wonderful quality So "pure and so full of divinity" As we grow up, we tend to ignore "The Child in US " Our lives turn into such a "mess", We tend to become too "judgemental And lose out our "Basic Fundamental", We fail to to love with child like "Innocence" Be gentle,kind and spread "Happiness" We are not easy to "forgive or accept" We always from others only "expect" Where has the innocence,peals of laughter and pure joy disappeared? The Orange Sun slowly vanished from sight To see it was such a delight The birds took flight  To be back in their nests  Before it would be night The  radiant flowers dropped down  To rise again in the morn very soon Then the Larks would melodiously sing And take their flight at the break of morn Now the Sky changed  "Pink" Before the Sun would finally "Sink" Gradually the "darkness"enveloped all around A "weird" silence crept in, and there was no more sound Soon "the twinkling Stars"lit up the Sky And the Moon  slowly rose up high The waves of the" Oceans glistened" in the "Moon Light" The "roaring sound"reflected their might Here and there the "Glow Worms" shed their "twinkling light" The "pleasant evening " changed into night Every thing was" calm,serene and a peaceful  sight" It was time to offer our "Gratitude" And wait for the "Morning
