POST_208 RAKSHA BANDHAN

A Festival that signifies a "SPECIAL BOND"
Between a "Brother and a Sister"
So very "Special "and so very Bound
That stays with them "FOREVER"
To "Stand by "EACH OTHER"
In good times and during bad ones too
A "BOND" so full of "Care and Reverence"
That spreads joy towards each others "TOGETHERNESS"
In its very "Spirit and  in its very true Sense"
A day of great "Festivity"
Compassion ,Love and Generosity"
Towards Each Other that reflects "Respect  and Dignity"
A "BOND" with so much "LOVE"
That Lasts for "ETERNITY"
PART -2
The Significance of The Festival of RAKSHABANDHAN(A)
Sage Narada came to meet Lord Ganesha. He spoke highly about the festival of "Raksha Bandhan" Lord Ganesha's Sons Labh and Shubh longed for a sister. Lord Ganesha emitted  a bright Light that merged with the radiance of his wives Riddhi and Siddhi.
The "Divine Light"took the form of  a little girl. As she brought joy to her brothers and tied the "Sacred Thread Rakhi" to them she was known as "Santoshi". Today she is worshipped with great reverence on Fridays as she was born on that day.She is known as Maa Santoshi who grants the "Priceless  Gift" of "Pure Happiness. "

Lord Shree Krishna accidently cut HIS finger in the "Sudarshan Chakra"
Immediately Draupadi ran towards HIM and tore a piece of cloth from her sareee and tied a bandage to stop the bleeding.
Shree Krishna was touched by her Care and Love and promised her that HE would always protect her and guard her dignity. The Kauvravas humilated Draupadi at the Court of Hastinapur. Lord Krishna lived upto HIS Promise and protected her "Dignity" with HIS "Love and Protection".
