PART - 2

Bharat placed Ramas "Holy Foot wear" on the throne

Ruling in His name through his own "silent bemoan"

He waited for the day he would see his brother"Rightfully" become the King

Every one around then would joyfully sing.

He did his duty with  great pride

His "Love for his brother""he never could hide.

One day Sita saw a golden deer

It ran here and there in fear

She loved it so much,to her it was very dear

She asked Ram to bring it for her

King Ravana of Lanka sent Mariccha his servant

In the "disguise" of a golden dear and asked him to be very observant 

Ram shot an arrow to stop the deer

But it "pierced the disguised deer

Mariccha exclaimed without any fear

Before dying "Ram ,"Ram","Ram" loud and clear.

That was the voice  Sita and Lakshmana could hear.

Lakshmana left Sita alone on her insistance

Then the "Lakshman Reka "was drawn by  Rams brother

And requested Sita never  to cross it "further"

The King of Lanka Ravana disguised himself as a beggar.

Took the opportune time  to see Sita very near

Sita went to offer him alms , cautious not to over step  the drawn line

He grabbed her by the hair,and quickly dragged 

 Her away

To the waiting Chariot and rode away.

When the brothers returned back

They were shocked to see  Sita nowhere

They went helter skelter to look for Her here and there.

Soon they began to nurse a lurking fear

Sita was nowhere any where near

The dying bird "Jatayu" gave the "Clue"

That having been "abducted" was "true"

Ram controlled his emotions and appeared brave

Though the situation was serious and grave.
