The Eighth Incarnation -PART 3 Shree Krishna.

 Back in prison,the guards  heard a shrill cry

The Eighth child of Devaki was born  they couldn't deny

They  ran to King Kamsa and announced  the birth

The king went to the prison in anger

To throttle the one who gave him "sleepless nights and  "instilled" fear

.He lifted the" babe" to smash it against the wall

Devaki pleaded for mercy,he didn't bother to hear the call

As Kamsa was about to kill the babe,she "slipped away"

Rose higher and higher as "Ma Durga" and made Her way

She told 

Kamsa his "vanquisher"is born,safe and is some where

His heart sunk and at the blank wall he simply

could stand and stare

King  Kamsa went  on a rampage

To kill all the new borns in Mathura out of rage

He felt no mercy at all

It was the "beginning" of his "downfall"

Mathura was plunged in gloom

His end was "doomed"
