King Shudhodana and Queen Maya Devi
Welcomed the birth of their Son
Who looked majestic,divine,and serene
Such a sight was so far unseen.
It was predicted that he would become
An Universal monarch or an Ascetic safe
The "foresay" was so very strange
His parents protected him from the "ills"of the world
Now the prince would never get  out of the palace
This was something "unheard"
Prince Siddharth grew restless and longed to be in the open
His rights to be "free" from him was stolen
His obedient guard took him for a "ride unnoticed"
Siddharth was "joyous and happy"
From now such trips would never be "missed"
He felt the "fragrance" of the blossoms
The scent of fresh air and the "beauty of the "Etheral Sky"
He was so very happy and wondered
For so long he stayed within the palace 
He pondered  why?
