Siddharth set out on his new path to probe He "exchanged" his fine clothes to a sages robe He cut his long tresses with a sword And moved on without a word He had a begging bowl in his hand He was "Embarking "on a journey he never ever planned The first "watch" of the night He recollected his past life,place of birth,and all that he enjoyed as his right The second "watch" of the night Rise and fall,cycle of"rebirth" The third "watch"of the night Hours before "dawn" he felt "Liberated" After seven weeks he"savoured Enlightenment" On that" rainy day" a "Serpent King" spread it's hood  and "sheltered Him" From Siddharth He became  "The Awakened One"- "BUDDHA"

One day He saw a "Sick man" Groaning in miseryand in pain His eyes grew moist,his heart sank His mind just went blank The sight disturbed him so much But no helpfor him he could fetch. Afew days later he saw "an old man" He couldn't believe that all human beings grow old He couldn't digest the "truth" the guard told Then he saw the sight that "troubled" him the most It sent him a shiver in the spineand fear He did not want to any further see or hear He returned back to the palace Shaken up ,no one was there to offer him   solace For days together he began to brood To enjoy any kind of pleasure "he was in no mood" His mind was confused and his heart was in pain He had "sleepless nights"and his energy began to drain He decided to" give up his princely life" To leave his parents,child and wife No one knew the "misery"he was in He was completely "shattered" from within At the dead of the night

King Shudhodana and Queen Maya Devi Welcomed the birth of their Son Who looked majestic,divine,and serene Such a sight was so far unseen. It was predicted that he would become An Universal monarch or an Ascetic safe The "foresay" was so very strange His parents protected him from the "ills"of the world Now the prince would never get  out of the palace This was something "unheard" Prince Siddharth grew restless and longed to be in the open His rights to be "free" from him was stolen His obedient guard took him for a "ride unnoticed" Siddharth was "joyous and happy" From now such trips would never be "missed" He felt the "fragrance" of the blossoms The scent of fresh air and the "beauty of the "Etheral Sky" He was so very happy and wondered For so long he stayed within the palace  He pondered  why?
