The Magic of the Flute
It was a still morning. In the horizon the Sun rose unobserved, the sky was enveloped with an orange hue.
At a distance a rivelet was winding its way through & under the shade of a huge tree sat Lord Krishna surveying all around. He picked up His tiny flute that brought forth the most amazing lulling, ecstatic notes of pure melody of joy &bliss.
The moment His flute touched His tender lips the leaves began to rustle the buds began to blossom, the cows stopped grazing, and the peacocks flew down to dance to the notes of pristine music.
The cow herds gathered around Him, the Gopikas hearts fluttered with excitement longing for Him with bated breath to convey their love for Him.
They just stood stupified when He began to put his slender fingers on the flute.
The melody enveloped their hearts, the air around and the "magic of the flute" transported every one into a world of pure joy, happiness, ecstasy, and felt the pure Love which fill their hearts to soothen their longing for the Lord.
Such was the bliss, His love,, care, compassion all were encompassed in the lilting music that He played oblivious of His surroundings.
He was in a trance as others were. He was in a world of His own feeling the separation and longing for His beloved Radha.
Those who were present felt the notes of the melody of the flute was just specially played for each of them. Their hearts and minds resonated the pure joy, bliss, that they were embracing Him in their thoughts and wanted to never leave but stay there forever.
The magic of the flute mesmerised, their feelings & aroused their longing to be one with Him that couldnt be curtailed, the birds, deers, cows, and the peacocks felt the same way only they couldnt express it the way others could comprehend.
Lord Krishna knew and felt, rejoiced, their feelings as He understood their Love for Him as nobody else could.
Krishna's flute is synonymous with Him. The language of His heart and His soul is embedded in the "magical flute"
A tender touch of the Lords fingers on the flute is enough to seek Him with utmost reverence, love, faith, humility, surrenderfullness and enjoy the "Spiritual Bliss."
